1. IFC provides ₹498 crore loan to
GVMC
The International
Finance Corporation (IFC) sanctioned a loan of ₹498 crore to Greater
Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC).
Purpose: To
fund the Madhurawada Sewerage System Project aimed at modernizing
sanitation infrastructure.
This
initiative will improve urban sewage management and public health.
2. Viyona Fintech approved as TPAP
for UPI
NPCI has approved Viyona Fintech
as a Third Party Application Provider (TPAP) for UPI services.
This enables
Viyona Fintech to offer seamless digital payments and expand fintech
innovations in India.
3. Ajay Kumar Srivastava’s tenure
extended as IOB MD & CEO
The
government extended the tenure of Ajay Kumar Srivastava as MD &
CEO of Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) till 8 October 2027.
He has been
serving since January 2023.
